Library Community Outreach
The Dubuque County Library District delivers services and materials to organizations and groups in many communities within Dubuque County through our growing community outreach program. If your organization is interested in partnering with us, please fill out this form and a member of our team will reach out to you to discuss your organization's needs and how we can work with you.
Outreach Storytimes
DCLD visits local child care centers to bring library materials and storytime to local children. These visits include a short storytime with books and music, a collection of themed books and, most importantly, stickers!
Both in-home daycares and institutional child care centers in Dubuque County are eligible for this service. Email LydiaS@dubcolib.org for more information.
Senior Outreach Services
Our team provides a number of services specifically tailored to those living in senior living communities including library visits, personal delivery of requested items, and more. We currently visit Hawkeye Care Center and Grand Meadows Senior Living.
Community Events
The Dubuque County Library District attends community and organizational events such as resource fairs, public indoor/outdoor events, school events, and more! During these events, staff connect individuals to library services, share information about library materials and services, hand out prizes, and so much more! If you would like the library to attend your community event in Dubuque County, please fill out this form.
