The Dubuque County Library District is hiring for a new position, Community Engagement Librarian.
Some responsibilities of the position include:
- Build and foster relationships with community organizations to reach underserved populations and further the library’s mission and strategies.
- Coordinating and implementing a marketing plan for the Library.
- Generate compelling written and visual social media content, measure and report social media influence and effectiveness.
- Promote awareness of library programs and services in materials produced and distributed by the library in-house and across a variety of regional media channels.
Required: Bachelor’s Degree with four years of public library experience; ALA accredited MLS or equivalent advanced degree is preferred. Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. Ability to work some evenings and/or Saturdays.
