The Dubuque County Library District in pleased to announce that the temporary branch location in Farley will open on Tuesday, September 27. The library will operate out of a new space in the northwest corner of the Farley Municipal Building, located at 206 First St. N. The entrance for the library is located on the north side of the building. Parking for visitors to the library is available on the north and west sides of the building.
Hours for this location are: Monday 3:00 – 7:00 pm, Tuesday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, Wednesday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, Thursday 3:00 – 7:00 pm, Friday 2:00 – 6:00 pm, and Saturday 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
The Farley location houses a collection of 5,000 books, DVDs, and audiobooks for browsing and checkout. Two computers will be available for public use with printing, copying, and public Wi-Fi also available. The book drop for after-hours returns will be relocated to the north entrance.
