SUMMARY:PIPER the Steam Organ
DESCRIPTION:Orgelkids is an educational project designed to teach children about the pipe organ through hands-on experience. Launched in the Netherlands in 2009\, the program features a specially designed organ assembly kit that allows participants to build and play a real\, fully functional pipe organ. The “Piper” organ\, built by Lambert & Fralick Organ Builders and used by the Central Iowa chapter of the American Guild of Organists (CIAGO)\, travels to various venues\, where participants of all ages can explore the science and engineering behind the instrument by assembling and playing it. RSVP is recommended but drop ins are welcome to come watch the set up!
