Cross Stitch Crash Course: (Ages 14+) Drop in to learn cross stitch basics and start a mini project. If you’re already experienced, bring your current project and have some company while you craft. No registration required.

Dubuque County Extension Onion Plant Program: Learn tips and tricks to grow an onion crop in your garden with free onion plants! All participants will receive a free 50 to 75 count bag of onion plants and instructions on how to grow them through updates sent via email or U.S. Mail (upon request) during the growing season. Register by March 31st.
Dubuque County Reads: The Dubuque County Library District will offer book discussions as part of this annual local program, created to encourage conversations around a common book. The 2023 book is Sitting Pretty: the View from My Ordinary Resilient Disabled Body by Rebekah Taussig. Please register by April 3rd.

Asbury/ Virtual: Wednesday, March 15th, 6:30 – 7:30 PM Discussion of The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh
Sushi & Calligraphy: (Ages 16+) Join Jenn in a quick lesson on making veggie sushi (no raw meat), followed by some Japanese brush calligraphy basics. This program runs concurrently with the Children’s Let’s Make Sushi program so stick around to join the kids in enjoying some candy sushi. Register by February 27th.

Tai Chi for Beginners: Learn Tai Chi to promote strength, flexibility and balance with a warm up, cool down, and 12 introductory forms. This low-impact relaxing form of exercise is ideal for older individuals. This class is held twice a week over 8 weeks. Register by March 31st.
